Are you ready to experience the latest innovation and cutting-edge technology at the Thailand Gems & Jewelry Fair 2017?

Meet Gerenga, provider of turnkey solutions for various industries, including big players in Thailand’s gems and jewelry industry. Using robots, manufacturers can produce jewelry faster, with more efficiency and quality control.

“For jewelry, automation can be used in many different stages of production such as wax injection, casting, or just loading and unloading,” says Enrico Sielaff, Managing Director, Gerenga.

A new type of robot, called “collaborative robots” or “cobots”, can work side by side with humans and taking very little space. Moreover, they are linked to cameras and online databases to maximize output.

“Once a system is automated, it becomes more transparent and can highlight other problems in the production line,” says Sielaff. “Automations also have a huge impact on production, it decreases waste in the system and gives manufacturers more control over quality issues.”

“Another advantage of automation is that the system can create reports instantly from the machines, allowing for real-time reporting 24/7 and more improvement for the production lines,” adds Sielaff.

◉  Colored Stones: A Shining Star of the Thai Gems Industry

One of Thailand’s most important products is colored stones which are highly desired by buyers from China, India, Australian and other parts of the world.
